In The Pink

A3 sketchbook share, because I love the colour I mixed for the background.

I’m still experimenting with the leaves and monoprinting, and ways of applying that to a substrate. I think I know which one I’m going to like best, and it won’t be the acrylic skin version. I love acrylic skins, but I’ve decided it isn’t the surface I want.

I can’t go outside and get more leaves as it’s raining and we’re under a thunderstorm warning, and one of the plants I’ve been pinching leaves from is almost finished its wee season. I should take some photos, as some of the leaves are beautiful shades of pink and red not unlike the background on the sketchbook page up there.
