Following on from yesterday’s experiment, I have been experimenting further with the basic idea, and different ways of achieving the result. I used pan pastels on this one, which loses some of the transparency, so I am not convinced.
You have to be careful when you are harvesting a few leaves for the gel plate, you are never sure when you will disturb a pair of ladybirds somewhat involved with each other, and have to relinquish that chosen leaf back to nature. Oops.
