The heatwave has passed, and I got up early this morning and opened the windows to let some cool air in. This is the first time I’ve opened the windows for two weeks, because of the pollution from the fire at Ladybank. I’m not convinced all that has cleared, but the house was needing some new air.
I somehow broke through my usual resistance, and started painting around 8am. I have no idea who this person painting at 8am is, but I like her. I strongly suspect I would get a lot more done if I could make this happen more often.
For today, I celebrate the win.
