Satisfied Sigh

I’m finally happy with a version of this pose. I think I’ve figured out that she is slightly tilted away on the left side (her right hand) and her hands are not the same distance from the viewer.

I used a very limited palette of unbleached titanium, raw umber and French ultramarine for this one, and I think it’s giving quite an ethereal look, perhaps even moonlit, so making a note of that.

I had a great day in the studio today, as Storm Amy starts her thing, but I’m so happy with this one, she gets to be the solo star of the day.
