Incredible ;)

I was doing some colour mixing with a red that I don’t often use, and the results were, shall we say, interesting. I remain unconvinced, and the tube of red paint may remain rarely used. I may have a different view in the morning.

I do my best not to waste paint, so I used the mixes for this fun study in my A3 sketchbook, which I think I am naming Human Extremities.

Uploading it here, I am liking the purple a bit more, but that could be the monitor.

I also pulled out that huge pot of flexible moulding paste that I bought the other week, and had a mess around with it. I really like the consistency, and I like the way it mixes with paint and doesn’t alter the colour. I have made some textures of varying thickness, and I just want to see how long they take to dry.

The migraine is mostly gone, so feeling a bit less the colour of her legs the day.
