Finding a Cool Spot

The weather is meant to change overnight and I can’t wait. I didn’t even bother with going in the studio today, and just grabbed a sketchbook, neocolor IIs and some fineliners and worked in the coolest room in the house.

I worked in my A5 spiralbound sketchbook, which is quite random inside. I filled a few pages, the first of which is a sketch of the temperature gadget in our bedroom. I took the photo in the middle of the night, when it was giving a ridiculous reading. We are so cooked.

The Iris is done with Neocolor IIs, and it’s an Iris from my garden. The Irises have passed, but we had the best show we’ve ever had this year, and they are such interesting flowers.

Looking forward to a cooler night, and getting back into the studio.

Til the morn,

Suzanne

Well, I haven’t melted yet 😀 I think it’s the humidity that is the worst. Hopefully getting some rain this week.
