Thingamyjig Joy

It’s not a very exciting photo today, but I made a sketchbook using the new thingamyjig I got a while back, and it makes the hole punching part of bookbinding about a million times faster with no pfaffing. I love it.

The sketchbook in the photo is an interesting construction. The cover paperis folded into a W and a signature goes into each fold, so it has three distinct sections. I made the cover paper wider than the signatures because I thought I might add some pockets when I decorate it.

Til the morn,

That looks very interesting … and different! I’m intrigued. Let me know if it’s comfortable or cumbersome to use.

Sorry I’m so far behind in your posts. I’ve been away a few weeks life-ing – a fair bit of it in crisis mode – and also trying to take an extraordinary number of free art classes while engaged in said life-ing. I’m pretty sure it saved my sanity, though! So, yay!!! And although some of the life things can’t ever be undone or repaired, my world is still intact, I’m still standing, and I’m fairly certain my family will all survive. I know for certain I will, and that’s all I can control. 💖

I’ve been beaming you Vibes for the life-ing 💜

It’s quite comfortable to use, and easy to weild. I hold it like a sword, rather than a pen (you know, because I have so much experience weilding swords 😁)

Glad you are still arting in amongst the life stuff x no need to apologise!

I’ve been soaking up those vibes and greatly appreciating them! 💜💜 And I’m pretty sure there’s a big part of you quite comfortable wielding swords!! ⚔️
