Sparkle

It was too hot to paint today, and it wasn’t a good day for various reasons, but I haven’t let that ruin the entire day. We did get our internet reinstated, and engineer arrived and fixed the cable, and now I have lots of things to catch up on.

Sometimes I look at what’s happening in the world, and wonder what it would be like if we had never gotten online. After the past weekend, I’ll just keep my internet connection, thanks 😉

Because it was too hot to paint, I decided to work in charcoal and soft pastels, which I love but never do. I surprised myself with the pastel, because I had forgotten that I had collected a few iridescent pastels.

The iridescence doesn’t show up on the photo, other than I think that might be what’s going on that makes it look like she has vampire teeth. I don’t know what’s going on there.

It was fun to do, but it’s not ticking the box for what I’m looking for with this exploration, but that’s what it’s all about.
