Dry Media Day

This looks quite blue to me, but that’s probably because all the curtains were closed to try and keep the temperature down.

I don’t know what to say about people who are in denial about climate change. Do they live in a temperature controlled basement? This is Scotland during the school holidays, it’s meant to be driech and cold. We aren’t supposed to be seeing wildfires on land in the same postcode as us. It’s out now, and it wasn’t very close to me this time, but it’s still worrying.

I had one attempt at paint, and gave up, so I did some sketchbook work, and the graphite portrait above. It’s the new timed portrait book. It does have a couple of random sketches, but it’s going to be portraits now. Very smooth paper, which is a change from the last one, it had a bit of tooth.
