I am still looking at this sketchbook absolutely willing it to be finished, it’s been a looooong time. Another page filled, tho. This was a non-dominant hand contour drawing with no reference, painted using my colour mix. I hated the whole thing, then dry-brushed a bit of white gesso over the top, redid some of the lines with the red chinagraph pencil, and liked it a bit more.
Today was a weird day, for reasons nothing to do with art, but in amongst the Weird Thing, there was a delivery from Jackson’s with my Christmas voucher spend. Oh how I love a voucher for Jackson’s 🙂
I bought the paper pack I have been coveting for a while, the Snowdon A1 140lb cartridge paper. There’s also five full sheets of cotton rag paper. Just a big box of lovely huge paper ready for the new year.
