Tidying My Studio Room

I spent a good chunk of my creative time rearranging and organising my Studio Room today. I am not sure if I like it yet, but I can only figure that out by working in it. I moved another daylight lamp in, which is going to come into major play as winter continues creeping, and the natural daylight shrinks.

I did do some work in my sketchbook, but mostly I was sorting, and going through artwork that has been stacked here and there. I have no idea what to do with finished things, so I just rearrange them now and again, and revisit abandoned works in progress.

Abandoned, or simmering, depending on how I feel about them.

This page from my sketchbook is from the other day, when I was having a play with fluorescent magenta. I mean I’m not convinced in a higher power, but then there’s the existence of fluorescent magenta.

Til the morn,

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ omg I could write one hundred blogs just about how magnificent fluorescent magenta is! I have the Vallejo one, and I think I have a Golden one too, because why not.

I have it in Golden acrylic ink. A divine colour that I don’t use much at all. I will try and change that! ๐Ÿ’Ÿ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

That’s why I tried it for sketching, because I love it but don’t use it as often as I’d like. I like the effect it has on the sketchbook, in amongst the caput mortuum pages, there’s suddenly PINK ๐Ÿ™‚
