I never use my tube greens, and if you were to browse my supplies you might notice that in all media greens are less prominent, I just don’t buy greens very often. I mix them, probably mostly for shadows, but I don’t have much green in my work.
I painted up three of my mini canvases with different tube greens, so my 100 Day Project is now at Day 38 with 40 canvases with paint on, I think there are around seven that are just backgrounds, but that’s seemingly part of my batching process.
This canvas pairs green gold with caput mortuum, and I am surprised by how much I like this colour combination, so I’m definitely going to make a note of that for some more experiments.
