Day 30 The 100 Day Project

I worked on five boards today, and this one is the most complete, although that hand on the knee and I are having some disagreements. Hopefully in the morning it will come together, or at some point.
I was recalling a while ago I was muttering things about batching paintings, and when I was working today I realised the way this 100 Day Project is panning out it is becoming a batching exercise. Previously I tried batching three paintings, and I didn’t get into a rhythm, but having a larger pile of paintings seems to work for me.
I was watching an old Tracey Emin interview recently and she talked about having her studio with fifty paintings in various stages of work, and relishing that she has space to have them all on the wall. I don’t have that kind of space, but with the 6″ square boards I can have the number. You have to take what you can from what you have.
Til the morn,
