Using a previous canvas figure painting as a reference instead of a photo, and using one of the patterned canvases I painted this week, and a short painting session gives today’s participation in the 100 Day Project.
Daily practice isn’t about always having hours and hours to paint, or producing resolved pieces, it’s just about showing up in whatever way is possible. Cultivating that freedom and mindset has been more work than the painting.
