Drawing Not Painting

I’ve been painting my initial sketch more often than using graphite, so this is a wee change.

The lips are going through a bit of a journey, even since I took this photo. I think the model has filler, which is always interesting to try and capture without ending up with a caricature.

I’ll do my best to do her justice.

I’m not going to do much more with the drawing because painting always changes what’s there, so she’s ready for the morning.
