Drawing and Feeling

Lots of things weren’t going the way I wanted them to, and I’m not sure this one did either, but it was more fun than the others. It’s an A1 sheet of paper, so it’s large.

I held a paintbrush loosely, and using a twisting movement while moving the brush, I sketched my face. I wasn’t looking in a mirror, I was tracing the shapes of my face with the fingertips of my left hand and trying to translate that with the twisting brush.

Of course you can’t really see the lines because I disrupted those disrupted lines by throwing red paint everywhere, and then doing a bit of gardening.

It doesn’t look much like me, but if feels like I felt today.

Til the morn,

Suzanne
