I spent a lot of today following news, and procrastinating about the really very simple task of creating labels to include in the cellophane envelopes with these two paintings.
It’s one of those things I do, where I build up an imaginary mountain around what ends up being a five minute task. I’ll give myself some peace for today’s stint, since the news was so destructive.
I did do some painting and sketching, but the main story of the day, other than *waves at all of that* is these paintings are now varnished and packaged ready to go into the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh tomorrow. They will be in the 30×30 section of the Scottish Society of Artists exhibition, which opens on the 11th of January.
Woo hoo.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
