I spent a lot of time colour mixing today, and making notes in my sketchbook, and then I worked on these two, and I think they are working well as a pair. I have been looking for another image to use for a third, but haven’t decided on that yet. I have chosen the other two reference images for my set of three narrow canvases, so I am looking forward to getting started with those.
