Yesterday’s post was ringing in my brain today, and I put a large-ish canvas up on the easel and just started playing. There was some sort of sketch on the canvas, but it wasn’t worth preserving, so I mixed some paint and smeared a ground on, and from there things got a bit interesting.
Hares have been kicking around in my sketchbooks and paintings, and there was this one sketch that I did when I was imagining a doll that I keep flipping back to. I used that sketch as the jumping off point for the canvas, and this is where I ended up.
Fun painting day.
