New Things

I spent today having quiet time after a week of being in company, and other sensory input. I unpacked, and looked over my new art supplies.

Five new sketchbooks might seem excessive, but the three spiral bound ones came in a pack for £5.59. That’s an absolute bargain, given there’s an A3, and A4 and an A5 book. I was not passing them by.

I found a shelf of abandoned dolls in a charity shop, and gathered a bunch for £1 each. Most are Barbie dolls. I have been keeping an eye out for old dolls, so mission accomplished.

Today’s sketch used one of the new brushes I bought, and some of the Pebeo eco acrylic paint I bought a tube of to try out.

It’s an interesting paint, but it wasn’t moving the way I like, which frustrated me. It’s a nice paint, tho, for other things.
