Today I had a lot of fun making mixed media collage fodder using my gel plates. There’s lots of texture and I upcycled a bunch of used teabags I had been saving, and I’m really happy with the way most of it turned out.
I got a nice surprise as the special paper I ordered yesterday arrived today, which was fast. My first experiment with it was a success – it goes through the printer attached to the carrier paper without any problems, and the print looks nice and crisp. I’ve hung it up for a while to let the ink set, although it occurs to me I may not need to do that, but for now I just need to be patient.
