Yesterday was A Lot, and not just the Supreme Court verdict, and the regression of rights, there were other things to process.
Today I took a day off portraiture. I still intend to complete my 100 Day Project, but today needed to be a day of doing more playful stuff, so that’s what I did.
There was lots of messy sketchbook play, and I started a project on a wood panel (above). The spirals are printed with a handmade stamp I made a while back.
It was a good art self-care day.
