I have worked with this reference photo a few times now, and it is all challenging one. There are all sorts of weird corners, and things that just don’t behave like facial features.
I think this might be the best attempt yet, and I’m happy with it.
I used the Zorn Palette today. I quite like the simplicity of the palette for the short hour. I did add a bit of cad yellow for the hair, to give it a bit more oomph, but everything else is from the four – titanium white, ivory black, yellow ochre and vermillion.
