I had one of those I-don’t-know-what-to-paint days, which led to some epic procrastination, which led to having only half an hour to paint, which led to this portrait.
The thing that I did with the irises is good, and I notice that I made them blue, which is unusual for me.
I did lay out all the paintings from the first five weeks of this project, and took a photo:
It’s growing into quite a body of work.
The clocks went forward last night, I’m completely thrown by it, moreso than usual I think.
