I decided to try a reference I am comfortable with today, and I’m still trying out this alla prima technique that is a bit more in-depth. It’s quite challenging to do in an hour, and I am unconvinced with the greens for shadows, lol. I’m having fun, tho, which is good.
I now have thirty of these little paintings, and I am thinking about what to do with them all. If I complete the challenge there will be one hundred, which is probably too many to bind into one handmade book.
It’s a nice problem to have for a previously blocked creative, tho.
