I had a battle with procrastination again today, but I eventually got there, around about the time the Noise Men started cleaning up their mess, and looking like they are finished.

Yay.

I decided on another selfie, and used a palette from a couple of weeks back – yellow ochre, alizarin crimson, caput mortuum, phthalo turquoise, ivory black and titanium white.

I think I like this palette.

I am quite fascinated with these self-portraits, and the process of investigating my shapes, and shades. I am not a fan of selfies of myself, and rarely posts myself online, so this is an interesting thing to be doing.

There’s a self-portrait competition showing up in my social media feeds, and I am pondering whether to submit an entry. So I’ll sleep on that tonight.
