For my 100 Day Project painting today I used the same reference that I used yesterday, but I mixed things up with my choice of brush. Instead of using the nice Long Flat brushes I have been using for these paintings, I pulled out one of my shitty scruffy cheap brushes.
These are the type I use for my sketchbook practise, and they are gloriously cheap. I have a set that I put aside for oil painting, but hadn’t tried painting with them, until today.
I really enjoyed myself, and there’s a lot I like on this page. It’s definitely something I want to experiment more with, and I did this in forty minutes.
