I decided that I should probably do something to make things a bit Christmassy, so I spent a lot of time doing lots of little jobs, and some not so little jobs, that have been accumulating on my To Do list for months. It feels good, even if the proper sparkles haven’t been applied yet, but the beforehand bit is almost done.
As a result I did not get into the studio today, and I missed it, so at 9:30pm I went upstairs and grabbed a brush and randomly opened the book I got today – 500 Self-Portraits – and did a quick underpainting sketch in oil. That’s four days in a row I have been painting with oils. It might become a habit.
Anyway, I did not break my streak 🙂
