I spent a lot of time today organising books. I have a lot of books, but never too many. There’s no such thing. The problem, and it’s a nice problem to have, is that moving two large bookcases to my studio room means choices have to be made about what goes in those bookcases, and what goes in the bookcases I didn’t move.
The truth is I need a library room, but we can dream.
The only painting I managed to do was playing with some acrylic inks trying out a colour combination. It’s not a surprising combo, I mean it does start with turquoise, who would guess, but I wanted to make a note of it while the idea was in my head.
Also, I just have to ask – how on earth is it December?!
