I have a bunch of unfinished paintings and projects, and I used to give myself a hard time about finishing things, but I am now embracing the idea of having lots of unfinished things that are simply cooking until I feel moved to come back to them.
This one has been cooking for ages, and yesterday I put her up on the easel and spent a little time with her. Today I got stuck in with some larger brushes and resolved almost everything. I had a lot of fun.
She’s going to cook overnight, and tomorrow I will get some finer finishing details done, and hopefully call her finished.
