I took a small tiny sketchbook with me, and at 9pm I got a couple of little sketches done.
This one is an old lamp that hangs in Perth railway station, which is one of the places we changed trains today.

It’s been a long day, and we’ve travelled from the middle to the far north of Scotland, with a 5am start.
Short version: four trains, two dogs on trains (not ours, but dogs on trains become everyone’s happy place), immense landscapes, one amazing bookshop, two art books purchased, and baby pigeon in a hole in a wall.
I will write a longer story when we get home.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
