The northern lights came last night, and I felt that was a sign that my dear, sweet Murphy’s time was close. My parents messaged me to say he’s had a bad day yesterday, and they didn’t think he was there anymore, so when the aurora showed, it felt like a message.
He will be going to find his best friend, Logan, who was my dog, around quarter to six. Less than an hour’s time.
I painted him today, sketches, and also started work on the second canvas that I have had a sketch of him on for weeks. I plan to spend the week just painting him.
He wasn’t my dog, but he was our lodger many times, and stayed with us when my parents were off gallivantin, so he feels like my sort-of dog, and he was very special to me.
RIP wee treasure, I’m so glad you were rescued and came into our family. Logan will be there to meet you.

Tears,
Suzanne
