We had visitors today, including Murphy the glorious Lurcher. Doggie bosies are the best.
I only had five minutes to paint, so naturally I picked a complex pose from my new book. The ups and downs of blind selection, I suppose.
I’m going to give this one another go with more time, because it’s an interesting expression, and I want to capture it, especially the open mouth, which hasn’t translated very well.
I’m also going to fiddle with my sketch paint mix, because it’s not the same consistency as the last one, needs a bit more oomph.
Weird open mouth aside, it’s nae awful for five minutes.
