My little pot of caput mortuum sketching blend died a death today.
(is that a niche joke?)
Naturally I have forgotten exactly what I put in the pot, so I searched my blog. Naturally when I wrote about making the mix, all I wrote was ‘mixed with medium’. Ha.
Waggled some of my sketchbook pages in the light, just before it all went dark and started raining, and decided to go with matt medium. To be technical, a splodge.
I think it’s a bit thin, but I can play with quantities tomorrow, if I still think it’s too thin.
Decided to do some gestural figure drawing with one of the larger shitty brushes, and fill some sketchbook pages. Wasn’t in the mood for faces, so chose some nice, juicy arses instead. As you do.
