My new workbench arrived and I am completely smitten. It’s absolutely perfect.
It will take a few days for me to sort out what goes where, because this workbench is going to be a workbench, not a handy flat surface to store odd things. It’s actually smaller than the wobbly table it is replacing, but I already have big ideas for getting another workbench the same, and being able to roll them around to change the workspace as needed.
For now I’m just going to enjoy my new improved space. Yay!
With most of the day taken up with waiting for the delivery, then the building of the workbench, then the rearranging, I could have settled for all of that being part of the creative process… but I pulled out one of my 6×8 watercolour blocks and painted.
These are the blocks I use for the slow-growing 100 mini paintings project, which I keep meaning to focus more on. The block had some random paint on it, so I added a couple of layers, and then pulled out a strange figure.

I really enjoyed working in my new space, and given what is going on *out there* I feel privileged to be able to enjoy anything.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
