I’m so excited 😃 Yesterday I ordered a table that I have been hankering after for ages. I’ve chosen it as my birthday present, and I can’t wait.
It’s a workshop table, and it’s going to sort-of replace the one I have that is a bit wobbly. The new one is height-adjustable, has power outlets, and wheels, and I think it’s going to make my workspace much more usable.
The wobbly table is easily collapsible, and cab still be brought out if I’m in the mood for lots of table space.
Today I moved some things around, and made space for a few things, because I want the new table to be a workspace, not a place to keep things (!)
I think it’s going to work.
I spent some time in my sketchbook, and I also started a page with some squiggly doodles and paint. Here’s a snap of the early stage.
I haven’t done one of these in ages, and I have no idea where it will end up, but it will be a nice ongoing project to add layers to over time.
Eventually I want a figure study on there, but first… lots of layers.
