100 Day Project Day 92

I really wanted to nail this today, but I’m stopping to let the paper rest before going in to fix the eye, and finishing up.

It’s hilarious to me that I am avoiding like the plague another class piece because it’s watercolour, and yet I’ve dived in with this one going bonkers with watercolour without overthinking it at all.

I could sit and pick holes in this one, but I’m not finished yet, so I’m going to be kind to myself. I am unconvinced about the beard, but I am looking at the ear and thinking – remember when I was intimidated by drawing ears?

Beards are just shapes and textures to practise, that’s all.

That stripe of blue/black drawing ink is just delicious, though. Bold.
