100 Day Project Day 74
I am that person that finds it impossible to get anything done if there is something scheduled for later in the day, and that includes a parcel delivery with tracking, so there was very little art being done as my parcel travelled the wilds of Perthshire and Fife to get here.
I have filmed the unboxing, and some swatching, but I haven’t edited it. It’s going to need editing because of course someone started up with deisel powered gardening equipment while I was mid performance. I’ll figure it all out and upload it here as and when.
I’m very happy with my new stash, tho, and I’m especially intrigued with the watercolour inks. I think they are going to fit in with some of my process quite nicely.
I did this wee single-line contour drawing using the dropper of the blue ink, and skooshed some water on, and then used the dropper of the red, and the way they moved together was just chef’s kiss. Definitely a supply with potential in my stash.

This is still quite wet, so it will no doubt fade a little when dry, because it’s watercolour, but that adds to the different quality of the medium.
I’ll try to get the swatching video edited and uploaded tomorrow.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
