100 Day Project Day 73
Today was an important day in the parly. The Safe Access Zones Bill stage 1 debate took place. This bill is designed to create buffer zones around healthcare facilities that prevent those accessing healthcare from intimidation and coercion from religious people who don’t have good boundaries…
So I watched the debate, swore a few times, but ultimately celebrated the almost unanimous support for the bill.
I say almost, the one person who I believe voted against stood in our parly and tried to turn the debate into an anti-abortion debate, not least by declaring we should be forcing women to give birth because of the falling birth rate.
If you’ve been reading along, I am sure you can imagine my thoughts on that.
As a result, not a great deal of art was possible today, but I spent some time swatching watercolours, which is always fun, and concluding that I shouldn’t buy more.

This is nowhere near all of the colours, I confess.
The wee face is made using my glass pen and a new jar of blue black calligraphy ink, which was another way I played today.
I don’t think there are any watercolours in the parcel arriving tomorrow, except for the concentrated liquid ones.
Oh dear.
I am wondering if anyone reading is interested in me trying to do some sort of unboxing/swatching for that? It’s likely the most interesting art haul I will have a had for a while. Leave a comment if you are, and I will give it a try.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
