Random Emergency Sketch

100 Day Project Day 68

I was planning a day of painting and drawing, but that didn’t happen. Scottish politics saw some seismic activity, and one of my Special Interests is politics, and so I was engrossed. It does not feel like a good day.

In other news… if someone love-bombs you then apparently rejects you, or ghosts you, or whatever, because you become “too much” when you are doing good stuff for you mental health, always, always let themgo, and then bolt the door.

That’s my life advice for today.

My committment to showing up here means that if there is only time for ten minutes of a very small sketch, then that is what will happen. I’m afraid the ludicrous lurch to the right that just happened in Scottish politics, particularly the government, means that’s all there is today.

I’m pondering this pose for a painting I have planned, so as random emergency sketching goes, it does serve a purpose.
