100 Day Project Day 52
I watched the Netflix documentary The Anti-Social Network last night, and it’s a wild ride in terms of condensing the reasons we are where we are in terms of truth and discourse. I highly recommend it.
I’m thinking about it a lot as a watch the Scottish political scene descending further and further into manufactured chaos, with today’s latest being a so-called feminist journalist peddling disinformation about what is really a minor piece of legislation about new-build housing and wood stoves, and turning it into a discussion about trans people and the Hate Crime Act.
I am quite sure anyone reading that paragraph who isn’t familiar with Scottish Twitter will be as bemused as I am.
I still cannot believe that I witnessed this.
I mean it is a small thing in a world where multiple genocides are ongoing, and one of them is inspiring white American women to lecture Black and brown people they aren’t entitled to criticise the government that is supplying most of the weapons being used to murder Palestinans.
In that context, the stoves stooshie, as cancer-causing as they are, is minor. The disinformation machine tho, that’s the same disinformation machine that makes genocide possible.
Art for today:

Til the morn
