100 Day Project Day 46
Sometimes all you have is a short window of opportunity, and it becomes a choice whether to take the risk and fail, and then have a choice about whether to bereal, or skip a day.

A lot of online art sharing is art sharing, not practise sharing, and I think a lot of people end up feeling like they don’t measure up when they compare themselves to that.
I’m not really sure what I’m trying to do with this blog, but I’m definitely not trying to do that.
It’s just a sketch, using a limited palette of naples yellow and ultramarine acrylic, with a flat brush. It’s not anything more than an exercise, a practise, in seeing shape and value. The reference image is a tricky one, because the head is slightly tilted back, and I keep coming back to this reference, because the nose is this wild, unobtainable landscape.
Sanctions, divestment, arms embargo, right to return, reparation NOW.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
