100 Day Project Day 28
Today I was absolutely committed to finishing the oil painting class that has been hanging around forever. It didn’t need a lot done to finish it, it’s just that it ended up in the Procrastination Place, so every step ended up seeming more monumental than it really was. I enjoyed learning the process in this class, but I’m not invested in the end result, and that’s OK. It’s in a canvas paper sketchbook, so there’s even less pressure to have a perfect finished result, but for some reason this class response just dragged on and on.
I got it finished today, tho, and I am done with it, even if there’s a million things I could carry on and fix. I don’t care. It’s done. The things I really wanted to achieve have been achieved, and that’s what classes are for.

I just wouldn’t buy a sofa off that guy, tho 😀
I also worked on the other class response I am doing, which is a watercolour effort. I was a bit offy with it yesterday, but it’s starting to look better. I am really obsessed with the background, so I’ll definitely be trying that out in some of my own art.
A better day today, glad to have worked through whatever gunk that was.
Til the morn,
Suzanne
