Sketchbook flip-through

100 Day Project Day 10

I did not flood anything today.

As far as I know.

I did some work on my Self Portrait While Kitchen Ceiling Floods. I had to trick myself into picking up the paint brush by telling myself it was only twenty minutes with one colour, which turned into an hour of creating an ugly stage. I like it, but I also noticed myself thinking “there’s always a thick layer of gesso if this doesn’t work”. I also worked in a couple of journals, mostly using up paint to make scratchy backgrounds, and a bit of sketching.

I decided to try my hand at a sketchbook flip-though with my little fineliner sketchbook I started a few days ago. It’s very basic, there’s no audio, and it’s the first video I have ever uploaded to YouTube. It’s less than 25 seconds long, it will be over before you know it.
