Circling

Things I know about blogging and me:

• I never finish blog challenges, absolutely especially daily ones.
• I need to watermark my photos so they don’t end up being someone on Etsy’s wee giclée print. Unless I buy a giclée printer.
• I like the idea of pottering along barely noticed.
• I might post this as a starting-to-blog-again post, and then disappear.
• I bought an upgrade, so I probably shouldn’t do that.

I am using the prompt “circles” just now in my sketchbooks, and it irks me that when I searched Pinterest for circles so that I could create an inspiration board, I hadn’t scrolled very far when I was served a pin with a pretty young woman with blobs of some shite under her eyes, and the message that I need to do something about dark circles. I didn’t search “dark circles”, or “eyes”, but the constant messaging about youth and beauty is ever fucking present.

So there’s that.
